Listed below are a few pointers that may help with the use of the website: If you have an enquiry on any point listed below, use the Contact Us link to post your question.

Most of the site is set up as a virtual shopping cart / ordering system: most of the product pages can be accessed from the links provided by the Search Engines.

Not all products are available all the time. The site is as much an information site as it is an ordering site. Some high end products may need to be specially ordered from the manufacturer. Contact Us for details.

Nothing is purchased by clicking on the Add button, all this does is add the product to a shopping basket. There are two more steps that need to be completed before the list can be sent to us for processing.

The reverse of your sales invoice contains all your warranty information and our Terms and Conditions. The details on the front of the invoice are what have been used to identify you in our system. If there is a spelling mistake, or an administration mistake, please contact us immediately so that it can be rectified.

Updates to our information practices:
From time to time, we make changes to our information practices or alter the functionality of our Website. We always update this statement accordingly, so we encourage you to periodically review this page for the latest information on privacy practices at Rhythm Rendezvous.

Important Terminology: These terms and abbreviations are used throughout the site:

E & OE - Errors and Omissions Excepted (Excused).
 We endeavour to keep all information as accurate as possible; however errors will occur from time to time, due to the large scale, number of product lines, and nature of our business. Please feel free to query any information by using the Contact Us page, or the link at the bottom of each product page. All prices will be confirmed, and you will be advised of any errors, prior to completion of a sale.

SRP: - Suggested/Suppliers Retail Price (where one exists) : As set by the official supplier in NZ. All prices are in NZ dollars and include GST.

Our Price:
 The price we sell this item for. All prices are in NZ dollars and include GST. Some items might be discounted as part of a price special, others may be discounted due to being end of line, shop-demo, floor-stock, missing parts or minor damage. This will be noted where possible.

Pricing Overall:
 All pricing is updated directly from our in-store point of sale system on a schedule. Updates are ongoing. In order that our prices are as competitive as possible, BMB Product Managers may change prices internally on a daily basis and disparities can occur. The point of sale system is the governing factor in pricing disparities; errors and omissions excepted. You will be advised of any variations to the listed price prior to the transaction proceeding.

Prices indicated on this website are therefore subject to change without notice.  While we make every effort to keep the prices shown on the site up-to-date, there may be occasions when there are price changes from a product distributor that we are not immediately aware of, which may result in a slight delay in the website prices being updated.  If there is a price increase on an item you have ordered we will not process the order until we have advised you of the change and have your approval to proceed. 

 Occasionally a price of $0.00 may be displayed in the website.  This is most commonly found with new items being loaded ahead of goods arriving.  We do not have any free items or $0.00 items.  These are a clerical error and will be rectified as found.  The actual price and availability of these items will be given to you when you contact us.  Any orders with $0.00 items will not be processed until we have contacted you about the respective items.

Discounts: We aim to represent our lowest, most competitive prices at all times on our website, If you feel that our price is higher than that offered by a competitor, please let us know and a senior member of our online team will review this for you.

If you have a discount card through one of many educational initiatives, please note that the discount percentage is off the RRP of the product.

POA – Price on Application: The website shows “up to date” stock and pricing for product that is currently on hand. 

However, due to the vast number of products available to us, the highly specialized nature of some items and our various supply arrangements, we may have sold through, and/or be awaiting re-stocking at that time. In order to keep our listings “live” on the web, our system will log these items as POA (Price/Product on Application). In addition, there may be items awaiting arrival or undergoing re-pricing, or we may not have the latest available price from our supplier. Again these will show as POA. Click on the ‘Click to Apply’ link on the product page.

Purchasing Terms & Conditions
Purchases may be made by credit card, direct credit or pre-approved purchase order.

Direct Credit
For direct credit, once you have placed your order, the screen will display a 9 digit order number which you will need to use when you make your deposit.

The reference number is crucially important as goods will be dispatched on the clearance of funds into our account.

Credit Cards
We work diligently to protect the security of your personal information, including credit card information.

Your credit card details do not get processed or transmitted through or via BMB website; all transactions are processed through a secure payment service provider. An online approval is the first step in a two step process.  BMB uses Direct Payment Solutions (DPS) to provide this service. DPS hosts and manages the secure payment page. Once the final details of the transaction are completed and the goods are shipped, the sale is then completed by a BMB staff member for added security.

Your credit card details are not held by BMB and cannot be accessed by BMB staff.

All credit card sales are for New Zealand based cards only. Overseas ordering is dealt with on a case by case basis due to: manufacturer restrictions on distribution, warranty and freight issues. Please give full contact details when ordering.

All orders received that are over $50 may be confirmed: A relevant contact number and / or email address must be supplied. This is to avoid the possibility that a credit card number has been obtained without the owner’s knowledge or consent.

BMB warrants to the first purchaser in NZ that this product will be free from defects in materials and/or workmanship, is of merchantable quality, fit for the purpose as described, and will perform in accordance with its specification; from the date of purchase, for a period of 12 months (new products) and subject to the Warranty Terms and Conditions.

No other warranties either express or implied by law are made with respect to these goods.

Business Use / Purchases and the Consumer Guarantees Act:
We believe it is important to clarify your rights as a purchaser where there may be a “Business Use” component to the sale. Therefore, please be aware, where the buyer is acquiring the product for the purpose of business then the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 shall not apply. In this case, the explicit BMB warranty will apply subject to the Terms and Conditions noted on the reverse of the Sales Invoice.

“Business” includes any performance of a public nature - whether paid or otherwise - and includes, but is not limited to, Schools, Churches, Institutions, working musicians, installations, hospitality, and studios. This exclusion also applies for goods purchased for resale or use in repairs or goods used for purposes other than domestic, personal and/or household use. No other warranties either express or implied by law are made with respect to these goods.

Refund Policy:
We do not have to provide a refund if you have changed your mind about a particular purchase, so please choose carefully. If the goods are faulty, we will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act to provide a remedy.
